That pic of N214JL (B214-B1??) dragging the bucket through the sky, you wouldn't want to be going any quicker!
It could of course be camera angle.
I'm not throwing stones at a much more experienced pilot, but it looks scary.

Chop Chop,
Its not as hard as you think. Get yourself a decent camera and develop an artistic eye. Look for the out of the ordinary type pics, zoom in on bits of a helicopter or shoot it at an extreme angle etc. You would be surprised at how cool some of the artistic type images end up looking.
Now the air to air shots is a little harder, that takes time to perfect, you need to keep an eye on your background as well as the subject helo, also keep your shutter speed nice and slow for blade blur etc. But bottom line with practice you or anyone else with the drive and desire to showcase these awesome machines, can do it.
Nothing wrong with your pic, all I would have done is slow the shutter speed right down to get a lot of blade movement in the pic. Otherwise looks good.
