"No, we can land closer than the road" - "confirm the wheels are at least a foot from the edge please." (it's hard to see, but it's a bit steep, we are on the crest and there is a significant drop off behind the main gear - I always found wheels better than skids for scene work)

Bedouin Prince, I like the baskets on the '44 (YSL). Are they are a variation on the cargo-pods?
I hadn't seen them on a '44 before, they look very useful.
It looked like a '44 trying to imitate a '47. LOL.

Are they certified? I remember Robinson used to prohibit anything being attached to the skids.

its all good. (after speaking with our engineers)

all you need is a EO and also a flight manual supplement which comes with it the EO.

ive seen first hand a variation of that done but with the gerry standing up. can be made to hook into the pod attachments.

Come on CY Heli, are you seriously going to insult a perfectly good Robbie by saying it looks like a 47???

Don't you know a nice helicopter when you see one???? :D

(incoming)........................
A good idea needs landing gear as well as wings to get off the ground.

Yeah guys the litter racks are all legal. Bloody useful as well. As you can see they are great to carry your Jerry's on, leaving the inside free to load with non explosive stuff. The mounts for the racks are the same as for the pods. The good thing with the racks is that you can load them up with odd shaped things, unlike the pods. They can be loaded with quite a lot to, not sure how heavy at the moment. Because they are mesh on the bottom they don't slow you down empty, though the do vibrate a bit over 80 knots.

I started this post a wee while ago and it was great to see such a diversity of aircraft and landings spots. I am sure many would enjoy seeing more people add pics to the thread. I'd add a few more however if you've seen one offshore platform then you have seen them all...they are all green with a great big yellow circle to aim for!!!
