Heli-west has indeed picked up some advanced training work, but haven't heard about the one referred to above. Chinese whispers perhaps or people connecting dots that don't exist.

Hey guys look what site you are on! A rumour network not all is True that's why it's asked.

bell_driver, rumors are exactly that. Some are true, some are not.
Just like when everyone thought that Australian Helicopters had the NSW Health contract in the bag, and then Toll and Westpac won respective regions, or when HNZ supposedly re-signed all the WA fire contracts and then McDermott picked up the lions share etc. Or even HNZ supposedly having signed a 10 year contract with Rio-Tinto for the Karratha MPT contract with the A109's, when according to rumor the only thing HNZ have is an un-signed contract and a letter or intent from the client (that's the rumor mill - take it with a grain of salt).
Usually they develop from staff in a company hearing about a tender process which is ongoing, which subsequently gets twisted into 'solid information' that a contract has been signed when in fact said company may not have even bothered to tender in the first place. Happens all the time.

Yeah fair enough, I guess there's no escaping the rumour mill in this game. A little bit of personal research goes a long way to dispelling most rumours though.
