Vale Ian Pullen

Terribly sad news regarding a fellow pilot. Hit and run and the coward that did it is still on the run:

This is just horrible , I spent many years chatting to Ian during many fire seasons in Newcastle at the time , he was such a lovely guy.
Condolences to his family
RIP Ian .

Ian... a gentle, softly spoken bloke... a good operator who gave life a pretty good crack.

The Pullen's have already had their fair share of challenges and thoughts go out to Vicki and the family.

Hopefully, there will be some resolution and closure soon.

Tragic news,
Ian Pullen was just one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever meet in aviation circles.
Vicki, I doubt you will never have truly lost Ian, he’s to nice a guy and relied on you for him to be ever to far away......
I’m hoping that Ian n Mark are rocking in heaven!!

Still no closure for Ian's family unfortunately. If anyone knows anything, please do the right thing.

I was wondering this the other day. Hope there is some closure for the family and the scum gets locked up and repeatedly paid much affection from some large inmate on a daily basis.

If that link didn’t post correctly, look at ABC news feed, NSW police have posted a $350k reward for the f$&@ knuckle the knocked Ian
