To clarify on some (repeating) questions being received...

- 'OGP Compliant' - Oil & Gas Producers is generally held as the benchmark for offshore helipads (much more regulated than onshore pads), complying to CAP 437 and UK Annex 14...
- 'safety nets' : are welded metal arms in place with galvinised wire meshing, extending outwards for 1.2m from the body of the pad, at an incline of 2 degrees (OGP standards)
- ' can be floated' : Naval Engineers have put forward several plans to turn it into a floating pad with realative ease, (and reasonable cost)
- if it is your plan to float it, the superstructure metal from beneath the pad, is more than enough to create a 20m gangway back to the shore line. Should save you a bundle on materials...

Hope that helps...

in answer to a few more recurring questions of the same nature;

- yes. if the supporting sub-structures are either not required or not desired intact for transport, I can arrange local gas-axing for their removal and this can then be shipped with the pad, (or scrapped if you have no use. However, it does represent many, many thousands of dollars of marine grade materials).
- and yes, if you were looking at land transport, it would either be angle loaded onto a flat-bed, or cut to be rejoined at a later date.
- it is currently at a waterside location, allowing easy flotation and towage if that was your plan.

Thanks.

the pending sale of this pad has fallen over at the 11th hour.

The pad is now available once again for sale.

All in excellent condition, the pad cost around $250k to build. Available for a fraction of the price, it makes for an excellent piece of fully compliant infrastructure.

Can easily be turned to a floating pad, or a simple mounting onto a retaining wall, or river edge, or building. Perfect business attraction, competitive edge, for the local winery or resort?
